Alongside the current path from the recreation area to Poole could a separate cycle lane be put in please . Often pedestrians and cyclists currently clash by sharing the path and not having adequate space or a division for each .

Path should be widened and paint should be added to divide pedestrians and cyclists

Good path but could be better lit by lights especially in the winter.

Better signage needed here, there should be a sign telling cyclists to go left to reach Upton Country Park (travelling east to west)

We need to complete the cycle path round Holes Bay starting from Cobbs Quay to the twin sails bridge. The route into town from here is along the busy Blandford Road. A link should branch off to the library and schools which would make this ... [more]

Why is there such a pinch point in this great enhanced works carried out recently,it's just a flower bed!?

This cycle lane both sides is still the old width and with traffic still not keeping to 30 mph is hairy to travel on in both directions. Why when you removed the 40mph signs by Wallace Road did you not leave the 39 mph one and turn it aroun ... [more]

Dedicated cycle lane here linking to Poole Park

Make this a cycle route

Please build a bridge here, the current layout means there are far too many corners increasing the chances of a collision with a pedestrian or cyclist.

Clearer signage on road saying THIS is where you ride your bikes!

On-pavement cycle lane for cyclists exiting the A35 subway and connecting to Bargates

Allow cycling on this short footpath for quieter, safer access to Christchurch Rail Station

Allow cycling on this short footpath for quieter, safer access to Christchurch Rail Station

Change to cycle route access away from the pedestrian path (too angled & steep & narrow to use) to the vehicle road

Make the short one-way section of Danesbury Avenue two-way for cyclists

Make into a cycle lane as no longer needed for airplanes

Overgrown trees and bushes preventing access to Hoburne Lane for cyclists and walkers

Improve safety on mandatory cycle lane here (wands/raised kerb?) Solid white line regularly crossed by cars entering from roundabout

Better visibility/priority for cyclists as cars come very fast off the slip round to join the roundabout.

Cars waiting to join the main road often block the cycle way here - maybe some signage to make them look for approaching bikes?

Clear these bridleways to allow for safer cycling to ring wood

Cycleways needed to protect children cycling to school. Too many speeding cars (parents!) at drop off/collection times

Roundabout is inconvenient and unsafe on foot and by bike. Subway is unpleasant. Redesign junction with better crossings for pedestrians and safe provision for cycling.

Cyclists use the pavement as there is no safe space on the road, this is dangerous when cars are entering/exiting driveways. Create dedicated cycle lane

All bridleways can be used by cyclists, so cycles can use this bridleway

Convert the wide pavement to a cycle and footpath. These should be each segregated with clear markings.

Overgrown bushes narrows path. If bushes were cut back and a little work carried out to the surface - it could be made twice as wide

This is a real pinch point bringing walkers/runners in conflict with cyclists - suggest removing one row of spaces from car park and replacing them with a cycleway that joins the path further up

The footpath/cycleway alongside the A35 Somerford By-Pass is unsatisfactory. It is too narrow to accommodate all users and it is dangerous to have speeding cars inches away from pedestrians and cyclists. A raised Walk/Cycleway following t ... [more]

Barrack Road is an important cycle way for commuters and school children and at present it is too busy with traffic to be safe to cycle on without a dedicated cycle lane. This must be addressed.

Allow bicycles to use this route - its already used by the wide, long & motorised land train after all!

This is a cycle route however there’s a ‘kissing’ gate preventing adult bikes from accessing the route.

Used as a cut through to avoid Ashley Road. Making it parking for residents only and accessible for cyclists and walkers only would make it safer and means the cyclists could avoid Ashley Road traffic

Allow cycling through Branksome Chine. It is a wonderful, safe, family cycle route that is wide enough for pedestrians to cyclists to share. Complaints about the dangers to pedestrians of cyclists are greatly exaggerated - in 2018 there we ... [more]

Chicanes do not allow pedestrians or cyclists to pass through safely.

The traffic is too fast, make the area (between primary and secondary school) 20 mph and paint white cycle lanes on the roads: Smugglers Lane, Carisbooke Way and Braemar Drive. Make cycling one mile to school safe.

Gervis roundabout and the roads just off it DESPERATELY need resurfacing for cyclists. So dangerous, so many bumps and holes in the tarmac, especially when arm signalling, so only holding on with one hand to bicycle handlebars

This is a cycle way but it is usually blocked by cars parked illegally on double yellow lines. There needs to be a clear cycle lane here so that this cycle path is not obstructed

This entire Overcliff Drive from Southbourne to Boscombe is very dangerous for cyclists and it is a cycle route. There are parked cars, bends and heavy traffic to contend with. One way for cars only would improve the road, cyclists would th ... [more]

Provide cycle route and create safe junction across Columbia Rd and extend to Redhill Drive

Use to extend the cycle route on Boundary Rd

Needs a cycle path

Very busy - buses, cars and cyclists. Schools are encouraging children to cycle - which is great - but buses and cyclists need separation during the busy times. Very dangerous for school children.

More drop kerb needed here to get between Boscombe Grove Road

Two way traffic on Richmond Road along with vehicles continually parked on both sides of the road despite restrictions. Buses going both ways cause tail backs as they can’t pass one another. Make Richmond Road and Mansfield Road both one ... [more]

Two round signs (person & bicycle) have been removed from the wooden post at the junction of the walk/cycle route and the public slipway - dome mid-August 2020

Widen footpath to Dean Park Road

Shelbourne Road is littered with potholes

Drop kerb needed where bus lane ends to access the subway without stopping dead in the road and lifting the bike onto the pavement

Create a cyclepath from Kings Park to the Traffic Lights on Ashley Road. The current road through Kings Park makes it impossible to cross in morning rush hour and cyclists have to dodge car doors being opened.

Allow cycling here to access beach

Allow cycling in July and August before 10am and after 4pm. Making the time slightly earlier will allow commuters to still cycle to work and encourage other commuters to switch from cars to bikes

Not safe carriage for cyclists nor pedestrians. If the bridge cannot be widened , then a separate shared padestrian/cycle bridge should be created and the original used purely for vehicle traffic.

This cycle lane is dangerous, does not allow for minimum spacing requirements and does not connect to anything. Segregate the opposite 'shared' path instead.

There is no signage to state cycling is not permitted. This is ridiculous to be told you can use bikes here. Creation of a cycle route through the high street should be obvious.

Many cyclists use the pavement because of very high vehicle speeds. Pupils ride to school, so there is plenty of space on this wide road for Cycle lanes, in addition to calming measures to reduce traffic speed.

Restrict vehicle use of this part of the quay. Bike parking badly needed for cyclists going to the cafes and shops as well as just wanting to sit for a bit.

Fix potholes and add some paint to indicate a cyclelane to where bikes and people should be.
