Alongside the current path from the recreation area to Poole could a separate cycle lane be put in please . Often pedestrians and cyclists currently clash by sharing the path and not having adequate space or a division for each .

Path should be widened and paint should be added to divide pedestrians and cyclists

Good path but could be better lit by lights especially in the winter.

Better signage needed here, there should be a sign telling cyclists to go left to reach Upton Country Park (travelling east to west)

We need to complete the cycle path round Holes Bay starting from Cobbs Quay to the twin sails bridge. The route into town from here is along the busy Blandford Road. A link should branch off to the library and schools which would make this ... [more]

Why is there such a pinch point in this great enhanced works carried out recently,it's just a flower bed!?

It can be very tricky to cross the road at the top of Evening Hill - please could consideration to a crossing here be given.

Please can drop kerbs be added to this road crossing.

This is a difficult crossing as there are cars parked on the northern side of Lilliput Rd and it bends as the road goes up the hill, cars travelling east naturally pick up speed and are hardest to spot - a combined cycle and pedestrian cros ... [more]

Make this a cycle route

Please build a bridge here, the current layout means there are far too many corners increasing the chances of a collision with a pedestrian or cyclist.

Clearer signage on road saying THIS is where you ride your bikes!

No cycling signs - tour De hamworthy on a top regular basis!

At Swithun’s Road, Southcote Road and Drummond Road. Work needed to stop rat run, improve cycle safety and bumping up on pavements which have been wrecked. Ideal route for cyclists and pedestrians between Boscombe and Travel interchange.

Tarmac the wide double mud path created by walkers feet at the top of the cliff right next to the fence. (Fencing also need maintenance)

On-pavement cycle lane for cyclists exiting the A35 subway and connecting to Bargates

At Swithun’s Road, Southcote Road and Drummond Road. Work needed to stop rat run, improve cycle safety and bumping up on pavements which have been wrecked. Ideal route for cyclists and pedestrians between Boscombe and Travel interchange.

Allow cycling on this short footpath for quieter, safer access to Christchurch Rail Station

Allow cycling on this short footpath for quieter, safer access to Christchurch Rail Station

Change to cycle route access away from the pedestrian path (too angled & steep & narrow to use) to the vehicle road

Make the short one-way section of Danesbury Avenue two-way for cyclists

This cycle route (avoiding one-way vehicle street) needs better signage at both ends & painted on it, please

North-east half of on-road cycle path completely blocked by parked cars - occupants off in playground & sports fields - enforce OR move either onto pavement or out into roadway

Remove barriers to make it accessible for large buggies

Remove barriers to make it accessible for large buggies

Make into a cycle lane as no longer needed for airplanes

A traffic filter would look great here and be observed working by our local councillor.

Pedestrian crossing. Almost daily issues with cars not stopping and near misses whilst on the crossing with my young children. A death waiting to happen. Traffic light, flashing lights or lollipop person would solve the issue

Used as a rat run to avoid Poole Road. Excessive speed as no calming measures implemented, 20mph signs ignored.

Have had numerous near misses on this zebra crossing with cars not stopping or slowing down despite me actually being half way across the crossing with my children. Every day I see drivers speeding through this crossing with people half way ... [more]

Overgrown trees and bushes preventing access to Hoburne Lane for cyclists and walkers

The road works started in January and still have the odd bumpy pavements and their signs haven't been taken down, this is 5 months later. Also can you please add a bus that travels to Bournemouth from the West Street stop.

Improve safety on mandatory cycle lane here (wands/raised kerb?) Solid white line regularly crossed by cars entering from roundabout

Better visibility/priority for cyclists as cars come very fast off the slip round to join the roundabout.

This part of St Mary’s Rd seems far too much through traffic - filter would be great here.

Cars waiting to join the main road often block the cycle way here - maybe some signage to make them look for approaching bikes?

Clear these bridleways to allow for safer cycling to ring wood

Cycleways needed to protect children cycling to school. Too many speeding cars (parents!) at drop off/collection times

Roundabout is inconvenient and unsafe on foot and by bike. Subway is unpleasant. Redesign junction with better crossings for pedestrians and safe provision for cycling.

Cyclists use the pavement as there is no safe space on the road, this is dangerous when cars are entering/exiting driveways. Create dedicated cycle lane

All bridleways can be used by cyclists, so cycles can use this bridleway

Convert the wide pavement to a cycle and footpath. These should be each segregated with clear markings.

Rather than being known as a "Footpath to nowhere" - this should lead through to the Castleman Trailway at Merley - as shown on old maps

The path should carry on north here along the old S&D railway trackbed towards Ashington.

Overgrown bushes narrows path. If bushes were cut back and a little work carried out to the surface - it could be made twice as wide

This is a real pinch point bringing walkers/runners in conflict with cyclists - suggest removing one row of spaces from car park and replacing them with a cycleway that joins the path further up

Barrack Road is an important cycle way for commuters and school children and at present it is too busy with traffic to be safe to cycle on without a dedicated cycle lane. This must be addressed.

I have almost been hit by cars at this junction a number of times as the view up Oak Avenue is often obscured by parked cars/vans. Double yellow lines for a good distance either side of the junction would make a difference.

Surely having the filter here rather than at the Fernside Rd Junction would cause less disruption to residents of Churchfield Rd, removing the need for an excessive diversion via Civic Centre gyratory while retaining the benefit?

Cycle lanes on the promenade would be very dangerous. They will lead to increased speeding and how will families in beach huts stay safe? It would be dangerous to cross to the sea. The promenade is for walkers and beach and beach hut users.

Congestion, dangerous parking and not enough space for pedestrians or cyclists during school run. Create 1-way system. Probably 2 anticlockwise loops with left turns only, including Windsor Road, Kimberley Rd, Powell Rd and Alton Rd.

Provide a link from the path behind Poole high school all the way to the train station. Away from traffic and alongside the train tracks.

This is a cycle route however there’s a ‘kissing’ gate preventing adult bikes from accessing the route.

Terrible traffic run through, too fast, inconsiderate. Many children use this road to go to school, the lollipop lady puts her life on the line every time she steps out into the road!! Please close the road to traffic!!

Block the road to stop dangerous rat run. Also to stop drug dealers outside Alexandra Park.

Used as a rat run to avoid Poole Road. Excessive speed as no calming measures implemented, 20mph signs ignored.

Used as a cut through to avoid Ashley Road. Making it parking for residents only and accessible for cyclists and walkers only would make it safer and means the cyclists could avoid Ashley Road traffic

One way. Would improve parking for residents as well as prevent rat runs. Would suggest only Weymouth road is the 1 way.
